MEET THE RISE TEAM
RiseVT Program ManagerDenise Smith is the Program Manager for RiseVT. She is an active mom of 3 young children and loves being outside, especially in the winter! Skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking are among her favorite activities. Denise is also a certified Bikram Yoga Instructor and still slips away for a class when time allows.
RiseVT Promotions SpecialistAs a fourth generation Vermonter Rachel has an ingrained dedication to Vermont and its people. She is extremely passionate about health and wellness, and strives to help others in the pursuit towards a healthy balance of the two. When she’s not working you can find her SUPing, hiking, biking, and skiing.
RiseVT Health CoachAs the RiseVT Health Coach, Brian works with schools, businesses and communities to build healthy habits with community members. He’s passionate about community wellness and spends much of his free time snowboarding and enjoying the outdoors.
RiseVT Wellness SpecialistJessica Frost is the RiseVT advocate for St. Albans. She loves fresh air, movement and travel. You may know her from the many yoga classes she has taught throughout Franklin County from seniors to tots. You will often find her with her husband and three girls doing some of her favorite family outdoor activities: skiing, paddleboarding, gardening and biking.
RiseVT Wellness SpecialistBetsy was born and raised in Swanton, and played soccer on the same recreation fields where she served as board chairperson for nine years. Betsy will strive to make Swanton a more vibrant, healthier place where our community will continue to live, work and play.
RiseVT Wellness SpecialistMoretti is an energetic, compassionate and inspiring individual who enjoys being outside, gardening and recreating. Moretti’s passion to help others achieve their best self is amazing.
Public Health NurseStacy is a Public Health Nurse with the Saint Albans District Office at the Vermont Department of Health providing technical assistance and best practice approaches to improve the health and wellness of our community.
Alburgh Health AdvocateRenee is an Alburgh resident passionate about community wellness. She is a go-getter ready to make change and help Alburgh become a RiseVT Community.
Health EducatorAmy is the Coordinator for the Franklin Grand Isle Tobacco Prevention Coalition and supports the implementation of Safe Routes to School initiatives. When she is not working on policy, system and environmental changes that increase the health of our community, you can often find her biking alongside her husband and two daughters.
